Approach

Following the establishment of organisation-wide project portfolio management structures, we were requested to introduce optimisations at the level of individual projects. In this project the test management process lacked clarity and there was no systematic project management concept with adequate training, reporting and communication structures.

Result(s)

  • We supported the client during a migration to an international credit card services provider for co-branding portfolios and with the setup and relaunch of the online banking system and all associated applications.
  • As sub-project managers we were responsible for knowledge transfer, the implementation of in-house training and the close-out of test activities, including release and stakeholder management.
  • As test managers we planned and implemented the acceptance tests, coordinated the respective activities using traditional and agile project methods, took care of the project reporting, and liaised between the international provider and the co-branding partners.
  • As project management experts we were responsible for project planning, project and budget control, risk management and internal/external expense posting.
